Gblowfish has been a chiefs fan for years and he and/or his friend had a column on their own webpage about their observations from all games and tail gate recipes, etc. He's always been an honest guy. His comment about getting the finger was part of a longer list of observations regarding "fan appreciation day", the team playing horribly, the mascot giving his wife a jockstrap, etc. I don't think he ever thought his observations would balloon out of control.
Nothing good can come out of this for Mr. Blowfish. You'll have some reporter sort through the history of the Planet and comb over all of his comments and drag Mr. Blowfish through the mud - "This man who claims coach Haley gave him the middle finger once wrote to another Chiefs fan that he should 'walk into a flaming aids tree and drink a bowl of antifreeze'. "
It's definitely not worth the potential problems to talk to reporters and have them take something out of context.
