I know in my professional peer community, I can talk about my experiences and it's not a big deal. The things Dane talks about at his neighborhood bar amongst his neighbors probably aren't that odd among his peer group, but to you, it's something right out of the twilight zone.
It's less about Dane's real life, and more about your lack of worldliness.
