How many people gave a shit that the Cardinals almost didn't sign Pujols over a few thousand dollars of bonus money until he hit 37 homers in his rookie year?
I'm sure that the Post Dispatch, Bernie Miklasz, and the entire of the St. Louis media was similarly trolling for fan discontent by not reporting this when it happened.
