You'd be correct. Nebraska it is Wednesday evening as a matter of fact. I feel sorry for them as well. This loss should only help KU in the long run I'm thinking. They showed some fight making a close game of it in a hostile environment it was just way too little too late. Now KU won't quite have the pressure on them that comes with being the number one team in the country, and their first loss is out of the way so people won't be pressuring KU with speculation of having an undefeated season. That's as much as it stings two monkeys off KU's back right there, which they should only benefit from going forward. The past few games to me KU has been playing really tight. Like they've been trying to play not to lose or something, instead of playing to win. They've made some bonehead plays too which certainly doesn't help their cause. Bottom line is they have their flaws just like any other team, but I have confidence Self will have this team peaking by tourney time.
