In other words what you are saying is we should question these things so that if they don't work out we can say "OMG that was stupid" when in actuality it was the best decision at the time. It just didn't work out.
Sometimes people make the right call, and it still blows up in their face. In the NFL, you just never know what's going to happen, which is one of the great things about it.
Also. I think this team did improve over the course of the season, and the final game was a testament to that. Was every move the correct one? No,
But I believe that Crennel was the man they wanted all along. We did not have him last year, we had an abortion of a coach Pendergast who was only given the duty after it was clear that we weren't getting Crennel.
Let's just put it this way. This team is in MUCH better shape, than it was before this regime took over.

Fans want guarantees. Problem is, there are none in the NFL.
Hindsight is always 20/20. As it stands today, these were two of the best candidates available. To have brought them BOTH in was a coup for this organization. Now, it remains to be seen how it will all work out.
