That's the tricky part about NFL contracts.
They come before the material results are known.
Obviously he was overpaid based on his performance, but so were a bunch of other QB's in the NFL.
I was just hoping you'd realize that there are other factors in play like WHEN the contracts were signed, the fact that all but $1M was already guaranteed to him because of the franchise tag that New England placed on him, and how the economy in the NFL is ever-changing.
