I prefer it because most people feel it's distracting so they don't use it... and in turn don't use ninja.
Once you get it down, you basically have a UAV at your disposal at all times. It's easy to just run around and waste people.
Then again, there are downsides to it... like having to use bling which eats up some good perks.
