I used to be apart of a clan called CPO. It was more of a pug clan, and they had their own server which I normally played on. Decided to try out and made the clan. Kind of cheesy looking back at it now, but it was pretty cool back then to me. I'm not sure what CAL they were. It wasn't much.

Ya I know what you mean, I never tell people about it cause it does sound cheesy(n nerdy), but it was a shit ton of fun at the time. Never heard of CPO, they actually had tryouts? How'd that work? I started out on a 24/7 cs_assault server lol, joined the SmurFs who were more of a community than a team, met some dudes on the server who were semi-local and competitive and joined blindside. Things really took off from there. Won a little money, got some sponsors, and couldn't get enough. Moving off to college was the end of it for me too, the options in iowa city were a little more appealing than my hometown. Still like to fire it up once or twice a year but it's not the same without my old config and sensitivity.
Any chance you knew Eric Huxtable from Emporia?
