You are right that Quinn is in great shape, but I'm not sure what that has to do with being a successful QB either. Perhaps he does have a stronger arm than Cassel. Since he doesn't do anything but check down though, who knows?
If Weis convinced Pioli to trade for Quinn, I'd back that move for at least two seasons.

The bottom line for me is that I trust Weis until proven otherwise when it comes to QB's.
