I don't love it or anything. I did think that it was engaging in how different it is from other films. Its so cold and distant. Appropriate because it is a film that is very much about distance, emotional distance and the inability to connect. Its also about the distance between desires and what the economy will allow you to obtain. Extending this -- the very nature of how one obtains what they desire puts distance between the desired and the desirous. That nature is of
transaction, of business.
It was one of the few films last year that attempted to talk about the economic state of things, and there's something to be said for that.
