Interesting, but pretty sad to see that M$ is still going to try and bend owners over and ram the 16GB limit up our asses. I will be interested to see how people can use the disc image on hard drives with a disc in the drive to "authenticate" the game to use burned games or what not... at least I hope that can be done.
I don't know about anyone else, but a slim 360 sounds like a headache. If they can't keep the RRoD from happening now, even with the improved newest edition, wtf is going to happen when it is packed even smaller? |
I think the redesign is largely to address the RRoD. It's a slimmer motherboard, not just cramming the same hardware in a smaller case. To be honest, I know very little about how this stuff works, but that's the impression I've been given by what I've read.
