If a poster doesn't advance the conversation, ignore them. Some posters make good points, others just try to get under your skin like a sliver and irritate you to know end.
It's pretty easy to figure out which ones to ignore these days. (Hint: if they resort to vile commentary while claiming the high ground, it's a pretty good sign you can get by without them.)
