There really shouldn't be a shot you can't hit with a 60 on a regular course. If you are worried about it, you can always have a club maker grind the sole of the wedge to make it more amenable to being laid open.
That said, I have a 60* wedge with 4 degrees of bounce that I used to use in the sandy soil of northern Ohio that is pretty much ****ing worthless in the clay of central Missouri.
