The is good KC BBQ. Better than the last time I went to Oklahoma Joes.
Stan puts a lot of emphasis on the smoke flavor and preparation of the meat. Sauces are all homemade sweet, medium, and hot.
Pulled pork is my favorite. The sides that are the best are the potato salad and the beans. Coleslaw is fresh but lacks what a Oklahoma Joe slaw brings ya - flavor. They give you a ton of food, $23 for a Who's Your Daddy and it took all 3 of us guys to clean it up.
Now from what I know of KC Q from growing up back there is that meat preparation is first and sauces are on the side. If you like the sauce cooked into the meat ya better head over to Dixies for some of that swamp BBQ.
