If you like reds (and want some that are cheap), I highly recommend Vina Maipo Merlot. I'm usually a cab drinker, but I think their merlot is much more complex and interesting than their cab.
It's become our table wine. We also like Bohemian Highway (despite the stupid ****ing design of the label) and Barefoot Zinfandel. Those are the cheap reds we drink on a regular basis. For better wines, we drink "whiskey reds" like Alexander Valley Cab, Louis Martini Cab, Lake Sonoma Zin. The meatier and more body, the better.
