Last Saturday night as I left the farm and was headed to town I saw a bright light in the sky. It was just getting dark enough out that the first couple of stars were now visible. I was traveling west about 65 MPH and it was moving right along with me I'm guessing about 5 miles out. It was moving just a little faster than I was and then slowed down to where I was passing it. So I focus back on the highway for a second and take a glance out the passenger side window. When I look back to the left looking for the light it was about a mile ahead of where I viewed it 10 seconds earlier. It just sat there and I caught back up to it. I thought jesus christ, that ain't right. All of the sudden that thing took off away from me at about a 45 degree angle and was gone. I watched it as it got farther and farther away the light grew smaller and dissapeared. This thing had to have gone 50 miles within 10 seconds. This was NOT a regular aircraft with a distorted view or something . This was SOMETHING! Military ? I don't know? There was no sound or vapor trail. I will remember this the rest of my life.

That's strikingly similar to my "UFO" experience back in 1984 or so. I can describe how the light I saw moved but I sure as hell can't explain it.
