Gas wasn't as high as I thought it would be when I was on vacation last week - generally in the $2.60 range. Probably helped that I went two weeks before Memorial Day weekend.

Of course, it was pricey as hell when I got home - closer to $3.00. Gotta love those wonderful taxes in the People's Republik of Illinois.
