I am of German ancestry and I have an extremely German sounding last name (in fact a WC 06 player shares my name) but I feel no allegiance to them.
I've always loved the Dutch brand of soccer, though. I remember I took to them as a child during WC 1994 just because I really liked their orange uniforms. Kinda funny.
And when I pick up the sticks and play some FIFA... I'm pouring in goals with Arjen Robben and the Oranje.
