the sad thing is, I've got a lot of friends who do a shit-ton of pirating. I'm not saying I haven't done any in the past (haven't in a LONG time, and even then, it was on a very small scale), but it's freaking sad seeing the level these people put it to. and their level is typical: it's almost literally impossible to stop, IMO. when you look at the raw level of stealing going on, it's tantamount to a mob breaking the glass of a storefront and cleaning it the **** out.
