true enough. it's funny, my relationship with my dad is the absolute embodiment of the classic 'your dad gains 100 IQ points from the time when you hit sixteen years old until twenty-two years old.' I was always a huge know-it-all smartass, and it took growing up to realize the old man actually had much more on the ball than I had previously realized.
but yeah, if my dad had said that about depeche mode & U2, I'd have immediately looked it up. that's just who I am
