I agree on Clausen. He would have been a great pick, but whats done is done. I was one of the biggest guys calling for Clausen at 5 and would give up a pinky toe to draft him at 36 or to trade up from 51 to take him.

I don't think that does us a lot of good. Cassel's still our best answer for today.
I don't think we're ****ed in terms of long-term QB situation. Worst case, you draft a good young QB next year and bring a seasoned veteran in as a 1-2 year stopgap. Much like Washington did. Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers are living proof that good young QBs can develop well on the bench.
