If it actually took as much as my response would be, then we'd have at least someone who is a young QB that the Chiefs could groom for the QBOTF, competing with Brodie and Palko for the back-up job, while Cassel continues to stink up the joint. If the Chiefs have that young player, then I can handle the Cassel shit for another year.
Problem is, the Chiefs don't have that kind of a player. Also apparently the coaches are showing "no confidence" like running consecutive draw plays while the clock showing 1:05 and 3 TOs left, just to try to get in a field goal position, instead of letting Cassel try to throw 10-15 or more yards.
And with Pioli and to a lesser extent, Haley not addressing that issue during the previous off-season, it tells me that they are, apparently for now, prepared to go foward with Cassel beyond 2010-2011 season.
