Right, so if the FS is spying somewhere, at the bottom of that shot you have a receiver (maybe Pope?) that has inside position and room outside the hashes for Cassel to make a throw at the sideline that only the receiver could've caught. If the FS is back, then you clearly don't have a corner playing a short zone there (because you're out of players), so that's an open throw.
He had at least 1 man open, possibly 2.
And given his history of waiting too long to make throws and ignoring guys that are opening out of their breaks, I'd need evidence to the contrary to believe otherwise. To date, I haven't seen any.
