I still remember Shanarat praising Maroney and the Patriots pick of Maroney immediately after we drafted him.
It's really too bad. The guy has classic size/speed for the position and by all rights SHOULD HAVE been very good. Instead, we got to see both DeAngelo Williams and Joseph Addai, taken later in the round, massively outperform Maroney, and Addai play for one of our biggest rivals no less.

Oh, and Nick Mangold be drafted later in the round and become a pro bowl level lineman for our division rival Jets.
Oh well, not all picks pan out, but that one just hurts somehow. He SHOULD have been good, but I guess he just didn't want to spend the effort. Or soemthing...
