I've mentioned this in a previous tipping thread, but if you work for tips you're going to get some good tips and some bad tips. In the long run, they'll add up to some sort of average, and then it's your decision whether that average is worth your time or not. Any individual tip is just noise in the data.
So I ask this question: if you receive an abnormally large tip do you refuse to accept it and write a letter to the person and mail it back? Because if you don't like the bad tips then you should be consistent and send back the good tips.
