Even if the Chiefs had the No. 1 overall in 1998, I don't think Peyton would have been a Chief because I don't think Archie was ever going to let Marty Schottenheimer (who never developed a franchise QB) get is hands on either of his boys (IMO that's the REAL reason Eli was traded out of SD).
