To your point, I keep telling myself that Mule Casspinch lacks game experience and that, ultimately, he'll grow into his role and responsibilities. My sadness is fostered by the fact that I see him playing, essentially, the same way game in, game out.
At this juncture, I don't think it's too early to declare him a class-A neuron. I have to admit, though, I'm torn. I'd like to see our passing game take off like a bat out of hell rather than a dead rat falling on its ass from a balcony railing. On the other hand, I'm pretty convinced that, the more time we spend waiting for Cassclap to "explode" is time we could put to better use by jamming french fries up our nose.
I do, however, agree that we may be well ahead of schedule overall ... in terms of the "rebuild", I mean. It could well be that the improvement we thought we saw in our defense is real. The Vixens are a damn good offense and can put up a ton of points in a short time and they seem to prefer doing it in the second half of games ... as we saw today. This was no slouch offense that defeated us today. Not by a long shot.
