There's no meat to bethesda games. If the story isn't there, I eventually get bored with the combat and game mechanics. And for me they have zero replay value, whereas with the BioWare games, I usually play each of them a number of times, whether it's KotOR or Jade Empire or Mass Effect or Dragon Age. I know some people love open world sandbox games, but I eventually just get bored with wandering around.
That's not to say I dislike the bethesda games. Because I don't. I've played Morrowind and Oblivion and Fallout 3 and will eventually get New Vegas. But they're just one-and-dones, and not a something I'm likely to load in five years (like KotOR, which I'm playing right now as preparation for TOR).
