It occurs to me that it's both silly and somewhat troubling when these writers start complaining about lack of production from our receivers. For, as Gramps used to say (whenever provided with the opportunity), "There's only one ball."
Seven catches? Slow start? Really?
These KCStar dudes should know that we use our one ball a lot in the run game. Then, of course, there's the whole issue of throwing it "to" or "at" or "in the general direction of" or "somewhere near the same or similar zipcode as" the receiver ... we're still working on that part of the process.
