I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of taking him at 20 or wherever when we drafted him, but the more I read on him, the more I liked him. Now, it's hard to not love the dude.
And it takes more than just pure talent to convert from a DE to OLB. You need a work ethic like Hali's. I love how pissed off he was that Herm was doing a dogshit job of conditioning the team & said "screw it, I'll do it myself."
He seems like a great guy & is one helluva football player with a great story. Hope Pioli gets him signed long-term & another pass rusher on the other side of him to take some pressure off.
