Frankly, I'm not sure it would be that great of a loss for KC. I've always been underwhelmed by Weis's streaky playcalling (great one game, shitty the next), and I think the improvement in KC's offense is due more to Cassel, Bowe, Moeaki, the running backs, and the O-line improvement--and I don't know how much of a hand Weis has had in any of that (but I'd be surprised if it was that much). I think another OC could step in next season and not miss a beat; in fact, with the addition of simply one solid WR and O-lineman, the offense should be even better next season.

See I think the opposite about Weis. I think he helped Cassel significantly.
If this is all true by some miracle, and Weis does leave, it has to be about his personality conflicts with Haley than anything.
