I hate the way Weis is completely overlooked in all the offensive improvements. With very few significant changes in offensive personnel, Weis came in and took the #25 overall ranked offense and raised it to the #9 overall ranked offense. Both Bowe and Cassel are playing at a completely different level than they were just a year ago. But all that's said about Weis is criticizing his playcalling. Criticizing playcalling is is a rather pointless affair anyway.

They added Thomas Jones (827 yards rushing, ranks 27th in the NFL
with having Charles ranked 3rd with 1380), Moeaki (539 yards receiving, ranks 13th), and Arenas/McCluster on returns doing a good job to put the offense in position. Yes, Bowe has improved and so has Cassel, and Charles is more of a passing game weapon; if those three things can be attributed to Weis, kudos, but I wonder how much of it is simply having a year under their belts with Haley and each other.
