Within a few hours drive, in the summer you can be on the beaches of Cape Cod, and in the winter you can be skiing the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We have the rocky shores of Maine, and the rolling farmland of Vermont. We have mansions in Newport, great sports traditions with the Red Sox and Celtics and Patriots, a great metro train system in Boston. We have the two biggest casinos in the world. We have world-class museums and theater. We have songs written about New England, and poetry dedicated to New England.
