So I usually take some white bread, put a little pepper jack and swiss in it. The magic happens on what I do on the out side. I butter it like everyone else, but I press some grated parmesan on both sides. As the cheese melts on the inside, I also get a tasty cheese crust on the outside. Yum! I call it my Grilled Double Cheese.

I've had a French Dip sandwich with the grated parmesan grilled on the outside of the bread. It was outstanding.
