I think your greatest likelihood of infection is through exposure into the bloodstream. So you wouldn't get it from swallowing. You could get it if you had an open sore or cut in your mouth, though. The reason that AIDS passed so readily among the gay community was that rectal sex often causes tears... thus allowing exposure to the bloodstream.
I'm just making a guess here, though. Not sure if I'm correct.
