I honestly expect blackberry to be dead and gone within a few years or developing on someone else's platform. There primary market is corporate and they are getting hugely assaulted by the other smart phones.
Windows 7 phone I would have said the same thing about but their partnership with nokia brings them more push. Plus success in the mobile/tablet space is life or death move for microsoft.
