Yeah, normally I have an extremely thick skin and I think this sort of thing is silly knee-jerk political correctness, but not this time. I'll be sad to see the nickname go because "mexicutioner" is pretty good, but I absolutely understand.
The violence in northern Mexico is
God-damn insane. The mexican drug cartels are some of the closest things that modern man has ever come to pure industrial-strength cold black-hearted "evil", in that they think nothing about, not just killing, but publicly hacking people apart and hanging or strewing body parts around the street in a bloodthirsty psychopathic message to everyone else in the town of "don't get in our f***ing way, we're making money and your life means nothing to us if you threaten our illegal profits". I even read a story about how they murdered this big group of mexicans who were going to some sort of drug therapy program to kick their drug habits, as if "you want to quit buying drugs from us? Oh screw that, you are all dead!"
The violence in mexico is jaw-droppingly mind-numbing insane, and no one should know that better than Joakim Soria. So given all that hellish background, if he doesn't want me to call him "mexicutioner", I'll quickly back the hell down and call him "Joakim Soria" unless a better nickname comes along.
