Lord, the 'value' of draft picks has become so overstated as to be absurd. The guy is 26 years old and put up an absolutely elite season his 2rd year in the league (breakout year for WRs). Last year he was on a similar pace until his injury.

Granted, you can't discount the injury altogether, but I'm betting they have a doctor or two on staff. Have him looked at to determine if he's sound. If so, the odds of us doing anything with that pick that would be as useful as Steve Smith are pretty damn remote (even if you actually have faith that Pioli isn't going to draft another midget scat-back or glorified punt returner).

Unless the Cardinals come offering Larry Fitzgerald for a viable price, I'd absolutely give a 2nd for Smith.
