The guy that was the fastest on the team who would run a 4.51, and well, he played for the Browns. People really have no idea how fast 4.7 or even 4.8 actually is. I got a buddy who has acceleration camps. I would gladly take one of you guys there that claims you run a sub 4.6 and 19 times out of 20 your score will be much much higher than you say.

At the football camp I attended the 40's were laser timed, and there were about 20 kids who did it out of the 250 that attended. This was on the last day of a two week camp, and after the coaches, who were there to specifically work on the players running better 40 times, had two weeks to show everyone the proper technique. To be fair, only one or two of them broke the sub 4.6 mark on the first day of the camp, and none of them ever broke the sub 4.5 mark. And Like I said before, there are a lot of kids who can run fast 40s, but their game speed may be shit, and they may not be able to run at all with pads on. There's a big difference.
