Best player available that fills a roster need when they pick. Once you get past the elite players in this draft, who I feel are Peterson, Green and Miller, I think you go to a BPA as it relates to team need.
The top tier OT in this draft (Solder, Costanzo, Carimi, Sherrod and Smith) are very good. I don't think that any of them can be called elite, but they are very good with a high floor. Any one of those guys would be a better BPA than what potentially would be available at the other team need positions, such as WR, OLB, C, QB.
I understand that the many people around here don't seem to understand the importance of having a solid offensive line, for whatever reason. However, I'm just trying to be as objective as possible in evaluating what I see as talent gaps on the roster as it relates to the talent available in the draft when the Chiefs are selecting.
