If tablets truly are the way computing is to be done in the future you can't honestly expect the largest computer company in the world to just sit on the sidelines. I disagree it won't take MS to get involved for tablets to keep evolving toward more productivity... the way the application world is moving to cloud computing. BUT that isn't to say that MS won't get involved... but it will be tough unless Intel can get back in the game with something to compete against the Tegra3. Otherwise MS will have to do a complete OS rewrite for ARM and lose the x86 leverage they have.
