To be honest, I think there are too many people that have forgotten this is a public forum. They have been argueing amongst themselves so long they forget there are others out there who act like human beings. Some of the attacks on peoples personal charactor are out of line.
A person shouldn't have to leave to avoid abuse. The abuser should be thrown out. I am all for debate. I dont have problems with profanity. I dont have problems with anything actually. But If I were asked to change one thing about this place. It would be the level that people go to. It really does go beyond reasonable at times. Ive been a victim if some pretty raunchy comebacks. In fact, Ive become a bit of a guarded prick because of it. I used to be pretty laid back. But the last year or so, Ive just let people have it when they cross me. Sometimes it can be fun to unmercifully smack someones head off in here. But sometimes its way out of line.
That said, Im not going anywhere. Just giving my .02.
