One of my friends has a 556. He loves it. But he sees all his friends that have regular ARs, like me, having a blast going through the upgrading process, researching the next cool thing to switch out, the fun they have the first time they try out the latest modifications, and he's kind of bummed out that he can't do that - so much so, in fact, that he's considering getting a base AR so he can join in the fun.
Just something to consider.

We already have 4 AR's in the family, so maybe I am just trying to be different.
The gas piston return is a big plus, besides being a lot cheaper then a g/p return AR.
