Have you ever seen Tony LaRussa learn a lesson?
I figured he'd have learned his lesson last season when Skip Schumaker pretty much cost us 3-5 games in the standings last season, but he we are. I figured he'd have learned his lesson when ****ing around with JD Drew made him nothing more than a mediocre player for us, yet he's now playing the same games with his new super-talented lefthanded OFer.
If LaRussa can't fit a square peg into a round hole, his solution is to get a bigger hammer.
I ****ing hate him. He is making Cardinal baseball less and less enjoyable for me, even when he's not really involved.
But just wait - Sanchez isn't long for this team and LaRussa will justify it by saying something stupid like "[The Texas league Defensive POY'] defense doesn't translate to the big league level" or "He hasn't paid enough dues yet."
Mostly, LaRussa should just get drunk and drive off a bridge.
