Because, clearly, the Royals didn't want those power hitters. They were available way back when they were 18-19 yrs old, and everyone knew they would turn out to be power hitters, but no, those royals turned down those sure things. (except moustakas, hosmer, and myers, ignore those guys, they inconveniently spoil the "royals dont believe in power" theory)
