APWe’ve called nose tackle Phil Taylor one of this draft’s wild cards, with folks saying he’s a boom or bust player who intrigues 3-4 teams as perhaps the best run stuffer in this class.
One of those 3-4 teams, the Chiefs, is “very interested” in Taylor. King calls Taylor a “good match” for the team. It’s at this point we’ll remind you that only King had the Tyson Jackson-to-Kansas City pick nailed years ago, days before the draft.
TFY Insider’s Tony Pauline has also heard that the Chiefs are interested in Taylor, saying they are “set to take” him.
