While a little undersized at 250lbs, that's fine for a 3-4 OLB. His explosion number of 78.6 (bench+vert+broad) is at the top for his position, better then Miller (68.5), Houston (76.

, and Kerrigan (74.2), and from all the ones I can find is only behind JJ Watt. Also comparing him to current success stories he fares well too like Ware (75.7) and Orakpo (75).
Looking at his background, he's gone through a lot. He tore his right achilles, twice. That was in high school and his freshman year, but has had no problems since. He came to Oregon State as a TE, but was moved to DE in 2009 (at his request). This shows me that he's got the work ethic to continue to work and turn his incredible athletic ability into performance on the field. In 2009 he had 5 TFL and 3 sacks. In 2010 he had 6 sacks (TFL numbers not reported). He also was a team captain with Stephen Paea in 2010, and is a graduate and Academic All American.
He's currently projected as a late round pick. This would be a solid guy to go after in the late 5th or 6th. I think he fits our need for improved depth and a rotational pass rusher at OLB, but also can be a very versatile player like Vrabel playing in goal line, or contributing on ST's.
