What he has, can't be taught....or defended. He has immense potential. His weaknesses are many and they are great, but all can be eliminated by good coaching. He is very raw and I would not be surprised if he struggled as a rookie. He was very frustrating to Pitt fans due to his production not being at the heights of his athletic ability. Pitt and Aliquippa coaching were far more at fault than he was though. If you don't lose patience with him as he learns the position, you will be very happy I believe. He definately has the goods to be a dynamic player in time.

I think he has some attitude issues but his talent is pretty evident. He was projected by some to be a top 10 type pick before the season started. Our QBs biggest weakness was throwing the deep ball and that really affected Baldwins production. We also had a pretty anemic offense this year and he was pretty frustrated. He let it show too much at times but if he works hard I think he will be really good. He definitely needs some coaching and someone to keep him in line, but its not like he is a really terrible guy. Just kind of a DH from what I can tell.

he needs a deep vein injection of maturity - he gets that and he can be a very good NFL player. If not get ready for a disappointment. Great raw athletic ability but I'll disagree with others on here about his talent. Talent is using your abilities to the max and he never did that at PITT.

Took plays off, showed up his coaches and teammates, threw coaches and teammates under the bus in the press, etc., but if he can grow up, then he would be a great player.

JB is a hot button to most Pitt fans. You will either find that people love him or hate him. His biggest weakness is he is not a good route runner. He played TE mostly in high school in a running offense. He still hasn't learned to run refined routes. Our QB play last year hurt him. The weakness of Tino Sunseri's is throwing a deep ball down the middle of the field. He just doesn't do it very often. He does have a little "Diva" to his game. If he isn't involved early, he can pout.

However, the guy's physical talents are sick. You can't teach nearly 6'6 and 4.5 speed. He is a long strider so it appears he doesn't run as fast as he does or he is not hustling. But, he is a deep threat which will imo really help your running game. He has good hands and is vertical is NBA worthy. There has been a lot of talk about his attitude but the kid blocked his a$$ off last year. He is not a west coast offense kind of guy in the slightest.

His biggest issue with Pitt fans was he wasn't Larry Fitzgerald. He should be a good fit in KC.
