At the end of the day, he's got some great passrushing tools (still needs to work on his moves) and a willing run defender. We're a better defense with him than without him.
He could play in nickel packages, give Hali time to breathe (Hali played far too many snaps last year), and still get plenty of looks in our heavier sets on defense, and he'll have plenty of chances when Crennel gets creative.

yea, he could be the backup for Hali to give him a breather and the passing down SSOLB.
Hali and Houston coming off the either edge on passing downs could be quite impressive. Who knows, maybe Crennel will stack them on the same side occasionally and force the opposing LT and RB/TE to really step up.
