Having said that, somebody shouldn't believe in something simply for the sake of it sounding better. Obviously.

Pascal's Wager is a terrible argument. Truth is not decided by picking what's behind door #3 like some game show.
Do you truly think that people should ignore their whole belief system - basically betray everthing that they know - because it will profit them in the afterlife? Are there actually people who do this?
